PUPILS from Malmesbury School have taken up the challenge to raise £3,000 for an adventure to Argentina next year.
Students from years 10, 11 and 12 have already started raising money to go on the trip and take part in a project to finish a school, or forest conservation work.
The school sends a group every second year on trips around the world with World Challenge Expeditions, the company which will run the holiday. Last year Malmesbury students travelled to Tanzania.
A week of fundraising events is planned to coincide with Valentine's Day on February 14. A postal and chocolate delivery service are two of the schemes they have devised.
History teacher Charlotte Thompson said: "It is not just about getting a handout from mummy £3,000 is a lot of money for each pupil to raise and they will have to work hard."
