The ten-year-old took on some of the best young trampolinists from across the region at the competition held at Newport, on the Isle of Wight.
Barry, who took up the sport less than three years ago, finished fourth in the contest - just missing out on a place in the final.
However, in front of the Great Britain squad and their coaches, the youngster proved he was certainly one to watch for the future.
His mother told Journal Sport: "The standard of competition was very high, as you would expect. He's pleased that he did well, but just a little disappointed that he didn't make the top three."
Barry, who trains at Warminster Sports Centre, only took up the sport after attending a trampolining class held during school summer holidays.
The youngster, who also plays football and is a useful swimmer, will now prepare for another competition in March.
