WILTSHIRE LEAGUE: BRADFORD Town are the Premier Division hot-shots after their 10-0 win over Chiseldon Castrol took them to the top of the goals chart.

They have now scored 66 goals and this win was their second 10-goal haul of the season.

Castrol were only 3-0 down at the break but goals came thick and fast after the interval. Adam Smith hit five goals, while Robbie Simmonds scored a brace and Steve Wickens, Charlie Powell and Mark Gerrish scored one.

Wroughton made Trowbridge Town fight hard for their 3-0 victory. Trowbridge's goals came from Andy Bloodworth, Mike Little and Guy Rowley .

League leaders AFC Stratton beat bottom club Pewsey 7-1. Gerry Wright collected a hat-trick, with Gareth Davis, Kev Coles, Robbie Broadbanks and Craig Miller getting a goal each.

Purton Reserves completed a league and cup double over Warminster Town beating them 1-0 iat the Red House. The goal came from Simon Pugh.

Aldbourne boss Pete Orsi was delighted with his sides 3-0 away win at Devizes. "Our goalkeeper Mark Robinson made an important save just before the break and we were able to take advantage after the interval with two goals from Jimmy Wright and one from Dave Levitt, it was good result for us."

Corsham and Biddestone shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Steve Healey and Nick Fielding netted for the visitors and Rob Humphreys and Darren Hayward for Corsham.

Malmesbury Vics were beaten 4-1 at home by Westbury Utd. Goals from Ollie Gee, Ashley Groves, Nick Rideout and Dave Macey gave Melksham a 4-1 win over Shrewton United Reserves.

A shock result in Junior Division 1 was Ferndale Rodbourne's 4-3 away win over title contenders Wootton Bassett United. Bassett took a two-goal interval lead with strikes from Ian Curtis and Steve Howes but Ferndale levelled with goals from Rob Griffin. Danny Groom regained the lead with a penalty but goals from Stuart Marriott and Matt Bown gave the visitors victory.

Westside also provided an upset, beating Calne Town Reserves 4-1. Irf Owen, Jim Hearn, Craig Roberts and Rick Hewittson did the damage with Adie Simpkins netting for Calne.

League leaders Trowbridge Town Reserves did well to beat a strong Cricklade Town Reserves side 3-1. Ian Ross scored the Cricklade goal and Matt Minnus, David Barnes and Lee Murden were on target for Trowbridge.

John Higgs hit a hat-trick in Sherston's 3-2 away win over AFC Stratton Reserves. Scott Rouse and Mark Langford replied for the home side.

Second-placed Bromham beat Wroughton Reserves 4-0 winners with goals from Tom Paget, Danny Powell, Lee Davies and Darren Brown.

Marlborough Town Reserves won 2-1 at Aldbourne. Richard Jackson and Danny Sly scored for Town and Peter Day for the home side.

All three top sides in Junior Division 2 registered victories. Leaders New College beat Clarendon and Tidworth 8-1 with goals from Ashley Chapman (2), James Green 2, Neville Williams (2) Rob Metcalfe and Kevin Shergold.

Trax beat Pinehurst 2-0 thanks to a brace from Wayne Petrie and Swindon Asians beat Westside Reserves 5-0.

A last-gasp goal from West Swindon's Mark Smythe gave his side a 3-2 victory over QT Swindon. Ross Kirkbride and Chris Coles scored for West Swindon

Blunsdon United Reserves beat Minety 3-1.Danny McKenzie, Richard Bruce and Dennis Wheatley were the scorers.
