PUB quiz fanatics, the Milhous Warriors have celebrated with a pint or two after winning the Brains of Britain title.
Captain Tim Westcott, 44, from Westlea, Sean O'Neill, 45, Eric Kilby, 50, both from Old Town and Kevin Ashman, 43, of Winchester, beat strong competition from seven other regional champions to win the competition organised by pub chain John Barras.
They represented the Bear in Reading and were one man short on the day but still won £2,000.
Their secret weapon was Eric, who memorised John Smith's TV advertising campaign word for word. knowing they were bound to be questioned on it.
