I AM a widower and pensioner and over the last few years have had my car vandalised outside my house or in the neighbouring area on several occasions.
I understand that on one of the recent occasions a teenager was responsible. Why can't his parents be made to pay for the damage? Electric wing mirrors etc., are not cheap to replace.
I like to keep my car for my independence and it is unfortunate that I and some of my neighbours have to put up with this vandalism because unfortunately we are obliged to park in the street.
