BLUEBIRD fans could play a part in helping their side reach the new Conference League next season as the club launches the CHIP fund at tomorrow's match at home to Newport County.
The Chippenham Help in Promotion fund has been set up by the club in a bid to give their promotion bid a boost.
A bucket collection will be going around the ground at every home game between now and the rest of the season and manager Steve White has called for the fans to help in the push for the new Conference League.
He said: "The supporters have given us wonderful backing which has had a direct impact on our performances.
"We ask our fans now if it would be possible for them to help us raise money for the players wages.
"In the knowledge that that little extra push could well make the difference to our chances of success."
