HOT on the heels of Sir Ranulph Fiennes, two men will begin the challenge of a lifetime in west Wiltshire on Monday to complete seven marathons in seven days in seven different ways.
Barry Matthews and Gary Jolliffe from Devon run EnduranceLife, a company specialising in sporting challenges.
The challenge starts with an on/off road running marathon from Bath to Pewsey on Monday, followed by an off road mountain biking marathon from Pewsey to Thatcham in Berkshire on Tuesday.
Their route on Monday will take them 26.2 miles along the Kennet and Avon Canal towpath.
They will be supported by a team of family and friends along west Wiltshire's roads on Monday and welcome any runners who want to join them and help raise money along the way for St Luke's Hospice, Devon.
The seven-day challenge ends with an indoor kayaking marathon on a kayak machine at the Outdoor Adventure Show, London on Sunday February 8.
