TROWBRIDGE celebrated their second biggest win this season with a victory over a tricky B&A Second XV.
Trowbridge expected a very hard game but by half time the score was 50-0.
A first-half hat-trick of tries by winger Adam Sullivan and further tries from Tom Hanham, Paul Hanlon, Rich Jones, Jeremy Cox and Dave Passmore quickly upped the tally. Adam Sullivan kicked five first-half conversions.
Although there were many more chances, Trowbridge were unable to add to their half century by half time.
The second half was a bit more evenly contested despite the game already having been won.
Bridgwater & Albion were able to cause a few problems for Trowbridge and were awarded with a penalty try after an offence five metres away from the Trowbridge line.
Trowbridge were soon to stamp yet another score on the game. David Passmore scored a well-worked try after a powerful run.
The Bridgwater & Albion defence was stronger in the second half and Trowbridge were not playing such an expansive running game.
Trowbridge coach Adrian Goldstone made four changes during the second half and this soon sparked more tries.
Replacement fly half Francis Chandler came off the bench to start and finish his own move and score under the posts his third try in as many weeks.
Moments before, captain Barry Coombs had his say and ran in a try from the 22, beating a couple of defenders on his way. Adam Sullivan converted. Another score was added by Paul Hanlon.
Trowbridge travel to Redingensians on Saturday with a full-strength squad.
