WESTBURY made it four wins in a row on Saturday with a comfortable victory in the Bath Combination Merit Table Division two East.
A lack of a front row for the visitors meant the match nearly had to be called off but a last minute re-shuffle gave the side a starting 15.
The match started at great pace, with both sides determined to take advantage, but the forwards of Westbury soon proved they were more than match for their opponents.
Rich Musk scored the visitor's first try, going over in the corner after some good handling by fly half Damien Laws and full back Paul Clarke added the conversion.
From the restart Westbury continued to dominate and their second try came from number eight Andy McLellan, who picked the ball from a scrum and drove his way over the line. Clarke again added the conversion.
Melksham hit back with a try of their own but Westbury centre touched down for a third try soon after and with Clarke's conversion gave his side a 21-7 half time lead.
The second half was an anti-climax but McLellan scored his second try of the game for the only points of the half.
l Westbury entertain Wootton Bassett tomorrow.
