Ref. 12329/3A NEW Malmesbury Guide was released last week featuring essential information and history about England's oldest borough.
The free guide is an updated version of one released two years ago, which was a fantastic success, said town councillor Catherine Doody, who has overseen the project.
The main change in the latest edition has been the inclusion of a new, clear map of Malmesbury and the surrounding area.
Coun Doody said: "I think it looks great. We are very pleased with the way it has turned out. It has lots of information that is useful to both visitors and residents."
There have been 5,000 copies of the guide printed, which are available at the tourist information centre in the town hall.
As well as information on the services, clubs and activities available there is a picture tour of the town.
