NORTH WILTS YOUTH LEAGUE: TWO goals from Sam English were enough to give Westlea Wanderers a 2-0 home win over nearest rivals Highworth Juniors and the under 13 Division One championship.
With two cup semi-finals coming up Westlea will now be looking to win the treble.
In the Second Division the top two both won to take the title to the wire when the two sides meet in the final match. Shaw must win this match to force a play-off for the title.
On Sunday Shaw were comprehensive 12-1 winners over Wroughton, while Fairford were made to work hard at Devizes Town, Fairford eventually winning 2-1.
In Group C in the Subsidiary Cup, Brunel Boys were comfortable 6-0 winners against Stratton Youth courtesy of goals from Tom Bowles (2), Wade Dixon, Dane Tregonning, Dominic Burtenshaw and Andrew Bowen.
Under 16s
SHAW B consolidated third place in the league after a hard-fought 6-4 win at Cirencester Juniors.
Star of the show was Danny Hiscocks who hit four, with Adam Legg and Kristian Howell adding the other goals.
In the Subsidiary Cup, Stratton Juniors consolidated second place in Group A with a 4-0 away win at Wootton Bassett. Scorers for Stratton were Sam Willard, Aaron Lockyear, Dale Fulton and Pedro Figueiredo.
Under 15s Cup
IN the one outstanding cup quarter-final, Liden Community had an easy 10-0 win over Wootton Bassett Town.
It will not be so easy for Liden in the semi-final where they will meet league champions Stratton Juniors. Stratton Juniors themselves were in Subsidiary Cup action, winning 7-1 at Brunel Boys, Johnny Bridgeman scoring the Brunel consolation goal.
Under 14s Cup
THE cup semi-finalists are now all known after Ferndale Rodbourne made it into the last four after defeating Second Division Walcot Wanderers 4-0 on their own patch.
Two goals for Steve Green plus two own goals saw Ferndale safely through to the last four where they will meet Wroughton.
Under 14s Division One
THE top three were all in action this weekend with leaders Greenmeadow finishing their league fixtures with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Wrough-ton.
The influential Steve May hit two with Josh Henshall adding a third, Khalid Naseem scored for Wroughton.
Greenmeadow must now sit and wait to see if Westbrook win their last two games against Fairford and Ferndale Rodbourne. If they win both the title is Westbrook's.
Under 12s Division One
LEADERS Amesbury Sports march on remorselessly at the top of the table, their latest win a 4-1 home success over Fairford. Callum Coker kept his fine scoring record going with two of the Amesbury goals with Steven Holvey and Tom Plant adding one a piece.
Lydiard kept the pressure on at the top with a similar score at home against Wootton Bassett Town.
