TWO former colleagues have now been reunited at a vehicle bodybuilding firm in Westbury.
Mick Kane, who has just joined GRP Westbury as sales director, used to work with its current managing director Jarvis McDonald at transport refrigeration manufacturer Carrier Transicold.
Mr Kane will be focusing on developing GRP Westbury's core business of manufacturing box bodies as well as working closely with its other specialist departments. He has a long-standing involvement in the industry and joins GRP from BAR Cargolift where he was national business development manager.
Before this he spent many years in transport refrigeration during which time he worked with Mr McDonald at Carrier Transicold.
GRP Westbury, which employs 75 people at its three-acre base on The Ham, is recognised as one of the leading bodybuilders in the commercial vehicle industry.
Mr McDonald said: "Mick's appointment is a major coup for GRP Westbury as he is highly regarded within this industry. His vast knowledge and experience will play a major role in the future development of GRP here at Westbury."
