TALENTED actors and actresses auditioned for a successful Wiltshire-based murder mystery theatre company this week.
People from west Wiltshire and Bristol attended the session, organised by the Intrigue theatre company, on Monday.
The Trowbridge Cricket Club-based group was hoping to sign-up a new actor and actress for future productions.
Virginia Havergal, of Intrigue, said: "We need more people to join because we are getting busier and busier. We were getting one booking every six months but now we are getting two every month.
"We are looking at taking on a part-time actor and actress to help ease booking pressure." Mrs Havergal, who lives in Hilperton and works as a librarian in Taunton, decided to join Intrigue because she loves acting and murder mysteries. She is now one of six core members.
"I've always been involved in amateur dramatics but I wanted to take it more seriously by joining the group," said Mrs Havergal.
Intrigue holds murder mystery events at social clubs and at people's homes across the south west. Some of its more prestigious venues have included a manor house in Castle Combe.
Their next murder mystery event will be performed for Fynamore Primary School's PTA on April 28.
