TROWBRIDGE Town manager Neil Kirkpatrick was left fuming after his side's match at Malmesbury Vics on Saturday was postponed because of a frozen pitch.
They are currently trailing league leaders Stratton by 14 points with six games in hand and Kirkpatrick admits it is becoming a race against time to fit all their matches in.
He said: "I am totally fed up. The decision to call the match off was pathetic. Our reserve team manager went there and said it was fine to play on.
"This is meant to be senior football and I think we should just be given a 3-0 win. I think they were just struggling for players and so decided to call it off. The decision was made at about 9am, why didn't they wait until about 12pm?
"It is so frustrating. We have 15 league games left to play and two semi finals and we are running out of time."
Trowbridge entertain Westbury United Reserves tomorrow and Kirkpatrick says his players are desperate to make up for the defeat to Biddestone the previous week.
He said: "Adam Nunn has a suspension coming up at just the wrong time as well. If he had been sent off in November he would probably have only missed two games but because it happened at this time of the year, he could miss a quarter of our season."
