OVER £1,000 was raised at a Bradford on Avon pub at the weekend with the help of Barry's chopper.
The remote control helicopter was just one of the attractions at the Three Horseshoes pub on Sunday.
Contestants competed to rescue as many 'damsels in distress' as they could, using the helicopter.
The event was organised by manager Barry Hodson, who said: "It was fabulous, a really spectacular day. A lot of people came along and it was a lot of fun."
The event, which also included a prize raffle and a 12-hour darts marathon, raised money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Mr Hodson said: "We know a couple of guys who are in the Air Ambulance and we thought they could do with all the money they can get."
