CIRENCESTER face a trip to bogey team Mangotsfield tomorrow with manager Brian Hughes hoping for a positive response to the 2-1 defeat against Solihull last weekend, writes CRAIG LYUS.
The Centurions record against the Bristol side over the past four seasons is wretched and even this season, with Ciren flying high and the Mangos underachieving, Hughes' men were beaten 2-1 in the reverse fixture.
Ciren still have five games in hand on leaders Redditch, but trail by 16 points and can ill afford to let the jinx continue.
Now Hughes is looking to end the hoodoo on the back of last Saturday's loss.
He said: "We were disappointed with the way it went last week but we shouldn't go overboard we've still only lost three out of the last 21 games.
"As long as we respond to last week's defeat in the right way I'll be happy."
Cirencester once again have a fully-fit squad with the exception of long-term absentee Andy Minturn who continues to recover from cruciate ligament damage.
Matthew McEntegart retains his place in defence after turning down a move to Premier Division Chippenham.
