Ref. 29355-17YOUNGSTERS on the children's ward at the Great Western Hospital had an early visit from Santa.
Toys, Playstation games, DVDs and CD players worth about £300 were handed over to the hospital in the first donation made by the newly- formed Dettol Foundation.
The organisation was set up by Dettol manufacturer Reckitt Benckiser to support organisations and charities that help families and young children in and around Swindon.
"As a major employer in the region we are committed to making a difference in the local community," said spokeswoman Emma Gilbert. "The foundation has been set up to do just this.
"We are proud to be in a position whereby we can help those in need and look forward to making Swindon an even better pace to live."
The foundation is looking to make more donations and anyone who wants to make a recommendation can write to it at 121-141 Westbourne Terrace, London, W2 6JR.
