Ref. 29357-30BUDDING actor Drew Coleman hopes to make a big impression after being given a work experience place at the country's foremost theatre school.
Drew Coleman, 14, of Queens Drive, has managed to get a placement at the Royal Academic of Dramatic Art.
Drew, a Year 10 student at Churchfields school said: "This is extremely exciting.
"I will be helping on the technical side of production but they are also going to get me into a couple of classes so I am really looking forward to it."
Drew is regularly involved in school productions and is currently studying drama at GCSE level.
Recently he played Digga in a school performance of Willy Russell's Our Day Out and played at a special Royal Shakespeare Company show at the Arts Centre with the school.
Churchfields School headteacher Steve Flavin said: "We are thrilled for Drew. I think this could give him the break he needs."
Drew sent off just one letter to RADA before the positive response came.
