POLICE were questioning two men after their car ploughed head-on in to railings.
The accident happened at 1am on Saturday near to the Bruce Street bridges on Great Western Way.
Firefighters using hydraulic cutting gear had to take the roof off the blue Ford Escort xr31 to free the three male occupants who were all in their 20s.
Pete Townsend, station commander of Swindon fire station, said the car had been travelling from North Star towards Cheney Manor.
"The front two occupants escaped with minor injuries and were freed relatively easily," he said.
"The back seat passenger, however, was unconscious when we arrived and was pinned in."
Police confirmed one man was treated at Swindon's Great Western Hospital.
