VOLUNTEERS are being urged to hot-foot it to a charity challege to walk over hot coals.
A Fire Walk Challenge is being held outside Swindon's old Town Hall in Regent Street.
Around 100 people are being urged to overcome their fears and walk barefoot over hot coals at the event on St George's Day, Friday April 23 in aid of GWR FM's community trust and Age Concern Swindon. There will be a carnival atmosphere throughout the evening event with street entertainment, live music and kids entertainment from 6pm. Each team member will take part in a two-hour Fire Walk training session.
Jacquie Sheppard, fundraising manager for Age Concern Swindon said: "I think this is a superb way to encourage local companies and groups of friends to raise money for local charities."
If you are interested in taking up the challenge then call 01793 842600.
