George Davis and Son was one of the best-known florists in Swindon, formed in 1963 with shops in Marlborough and Wood Street in Old Town, Swindon.
The firm became insolvent last Monday although no explanation has been given to the firm's demise and attempts to make contact with the company directors have failed.
The company had a total of six shops including two in Swindon House of Flowers in Victoria Road and George Davis in Wood Street as well as branches in Newbury, Bradford-upon-Avon, Marlborough and Westbury.
The firm's headquarters and main warehouse was in Kiln Lane in Cheney Manor.
It is believed 30 staff are affected by the insolvency.
The insolvency firm Hazlewoods in Gloucester said it was a priority for all other orders for flowers to be honoured before the company shut down completely last Monday and Mrs Bridgeman's flowers appear to be the only blooms that were not delivered.
The Fairytale Brides shop which is above House of Flowers in Victoria Road is still open.
