Chippenham Under 14s booked their place in the Wiltshire Cup Final with a 36-0 victory over their Devizes counterparts.
Chippenham proved too strong ultimately for the home side and ran in six unanswered tries to progress through to the final.
The Devizes forwards matched the Chippenham eight in most aspects of the game and their backs made it difficult for Chippenham's backs to move the ball around in their usual way.
However, they never really threatened the Chippenham line throughout the match, while the visitors always looked dangerous with the ball in their hands.
First-half tries came from winger Ollie Morris and back-row trio Mike Boddington, Andrew Bailey and Nick Bendry as Chippenham took a comforable 22-0 half-time lead.
Inside centre Tom Boreham had slotted a conversion in the first half and he got on the scoresheet in the second half.
Playing up the slope in the second half, Chippenham found things a little more difficult, but scrum-half Dan East scampered over from a quickly taken penalty on the Devizes 22 metre line, before Boreham waltzed over for Chippenham's final score.
Boreham converted both of these tries to give Chippenham something of a flattering scoreline at the final whistle.
They now face Salisbury, which will be played on either Sunday, March 21 or March 2.
For Devizes' youngsters, their next major event is a tour to France and three matches against sides from the Toulouse area.
