It was a big day of cup semi-finals this weekend, including the Evening Advertiser- sponsored under 10 competition.
The final will see Highworth Juniors from the North Division meet Stratton Juniors from the Central Division.
Highworth made it through after a 2-0 home win over Purton, George Hughes scoring both goals.
The other semi-final was an excellent and hard-fought game at Meadowcroft between Stratton Juniors and Fairford A, Stratton winning 1-0.
Stratton claimed the only goal after 15 minutes with Nathan Lee scoring after fine work in midfield by Karn.
Fairford started the second half strongly and Andrew Peedle in the Stratton goal brought off a couple of good saves, helped by some strong defending from Blue Simons and Tom East.
Under 11 Cup
Shaw under 11s' dream of the treble stayed on track after a 3-1 semi-final success at home against Brunel Boys.
They were made to work hard by Brunel in an excellent game of football.
The prolific Dominic Rekowski put Shaw in front midway through the first half. There were no further goals until the closing stages of the match, when Rekowski scored two more to give him his hat-trick.
Brunel kept going and earned themselves a deserved consolation goal late on.
In the other semi-final it was an all Stratton affair when Stratton Juniors Orange met Stratton Juniors Gold and it was the Orange side from the North Division who won 5-0. On target for the Orange side were Jeremy Marsh (2), Will Smith (2) and Nathan Richens.
Under 13 Cup
Favourites Westlea Wanderers are another side who kept dreams of a treble alive after their 3-0 win at Fairford. On target for the Wanderers were Sam English, Stuart Hillis and Kris Worley.
They were joined in the final by Eastville Boys, who had a hard fought 3-2 win against Brunel Boys, Max Etheridge, Lee Smith with a penalty and own goal the Eastville scorers.
Under 14 Cup
There was a tight affair as expected in both semi-finals in this age group.
A goal scored in the last few seconds by Stratton forced the entertaining game between Westbrook and Stratton Juniors into extra time.
It looked like Westbrook had booked a place in the final, after leading with goals by Matt Hobbs and Shaun Bailey.
But Stratton hit back strongly to force the game into extra time, where Matt Hobbs scored the 'golden goal' to win the tie.
In the other tie it was another tense encounter which saw Ferndale take the lead after 10 minutes.
A mistake in the Wroughton defence allowed Steve Green to run on and smash the ball in the net.
Wroughton keeper James Moore, made some splendid saves before a long ball was met by Adam Burson who coolly slipped it under the Ferndale keeper.
Five minutes later Khalid Naseem robbed the Ferndale full back and ran through to slot the ball past the keeper to make it 2-1 at the break.
With Ferndale going for an equaliser and time running out, Wroughton's Matt Purse broke away and rounded the keeper only to see his shot cleared off the line.
Under 15 Cup
Champions Stratton Juniors made it through to the final after trailing Liden 2- 1 at the interval. Stratton took the lead early on through Tom Underwood, who rifled home Scott Large's corner at the back post.
Liden deservedly equalised following confusion between Tim Hall and goalkeeper Russell Faulkner which allowed Matthew Howell to equalise.
Liden then took the lead through Ricki Clark, but Lee Curtis equalised.
Two strikes from Steve Nicholls followed, the second a superb effort, to put Stratton in the ascendancy.
The game was finally put beyond Liden when Rory Sproule got on the end of a fine pass from James Baldwin to race through and score to make the final result 5-2 to Stratton.
In the final they will meet Ferndale Rodbourne who were 4-0 winners away against Robins.
In the only other game played at this age group, Shaw booked themselves a place in the semi-finals of the Subsidiary Cup with a 4-1 win against Brunel Boys, Jason Lincoln helping himself to a hat-trick and Dan Atkin adding a fourth. Craig Smith with a fine strike scored the consolation for Brunel.
Under 16 Cup
The final will be between the two big guns Shaw A and Liden Community.
Liden were comfortable 4-0 winners against Shaw B, while Shaw A were made to work hard by visitors Stratton Juniors but always looked the more assured side.
In the first half, Dan Checchia gave them the early lead and it wasn't until the closing stages of the match that Bradley Clark put the result beyond doubt, scoring with a superb header from a pin-point cross from Craig Dixon.
In the league a last-minute goal for Malmesbury following the award of a free-kick for a back pass, gave them all three points in a seven-goal thriller with Wootton Bassett Town. Tom James scored all three Bassett goals in the 4-3 defeat.
Cirencester Juniors went level with Shaw B in third spot after a 6-2 win at Sherbourne, Dan Bartlett and Paul Ridge the Sherbourne scorers.
Under 14 DivISION 1
In the only league game played, Eastville Boys gave Wootton Bassett Town a footballing lesson, romping to an emphatic 8-2 win.
Stuart Pike and Josh Paddon led the way, both scoring hat-tricks, and Adam Leighfield and Jake Johnson each netted one. Bassett scored two goals late on through Dean Wason and Dominc Juggins.
In the Subsidiary Cup, a hat-trick from Lee Robins and one for Dan Hawood gave Croft a 4-1 win at Fairford, Tom Lander netting for Fairford.
Under 14 DivISION 2
Two games were played in the Subsidiary Cup. In a close affair at Baunton Lane, a solitary goal from Simon Kirk was all that separated Stratton Youth and Highworth Town.
Juventus Juniors had a welcome win to lift themselves off the bottom of the group, defeating Blunsdon 6-0. Scorers for Juve were Ryan Coulson (3), Steven Fyfe (2) and Liam Wlash.
Under 13 DivISION 1
After spending the best part of the season on the bottom of the table, Shrivenham & Watchfield Royals moved up a place following a 7-2 victory over midtable Stratton Juniors.
First blood went to Royals, following a back pass by Sam Ockwell that was mis-controlled by the Stratton keeper and the ball rolled into the net.
Soon after Bradley Williams made it two with a well-struck free kick from 25 yards.
A second own goal made it 3-0, before Williams again shot well to make it 4-0. Stratton replied through Jamie Prictor before Elliott Coard made it 5-1 on the stroke of half-time.
Stratton got back into the game with a well-taken goal by Luke Broadbank. Royals were not not to be denied and a well-constructed move was finished in style by Elliott Coard to make it 6-2.
Stratton rallied as Steve Kier again reduced the deficit to score their third, but Coard scored a fine solo goal for his hat-trick and Royals seventh.
Under 13 DivISION 2
Two goals from Jack Case in their 2-1 win over Wootton Bassett Town was enough to secure third spot in the league, Ben Curtis scoring for Bassett.
Under 12 DivISION 1
Amesbury Sports maintained top spot after a hard-working performance against a Wootton Bassett side who are the only side to defeat Amesbury this season.
Amesbury's goals came from Lloyd Barr (2), Steve Holvey, Sam Aldridge and Shaun Dixon.
Solid defending from Matt Robinson and keeper Gillott ensured another clean sheet for the leaders.
Lydiard kept on their tails courtesy of a 3-1 win at Fairford, Troy Weaven netting the consolation goal for Fairford.
Malmesbury and Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas moved up into third spot. Malmesbury were 4-1 winners at Liden, with Conner Dunn netting for Liden.
Ferndale Rodbourne won a close encounter with Shaw 4-3, Alan Selby (3) and James Trevors scoring for Ferndale, Alex Green, Ben Langley and Luke Underwood for Shaw.
Croft were comfortable 6-0 winners over Purton, with Michael Newman (3), Tommy Green (2) and Daniel Roberts the scorers.
Under 12 DivISION 2
The top two met and it was leaders Old Town United Cubs who triumphed after a goalless first half to go four points clear at the top.
Daniel McAteer and Joesph Kuczynski were their scorers in a 2-0 win.
Wroughton stay third after a 5-0 home win over Blunsdon Colts. Scorers in this one were Jordan Brown (2), Karl Reed, Richard Garraway and Kyle McConnell.
Under 11 North
The top two met at Highworth and it was leaders Blunsdon Colts who came away with all three points following a 3-1 win.
Cricklade Youth won by the same score against Lydiard Youth, Matthew Kitchener, Tom Finney and Dean Uzzell scoring for Cricklade, and Luke Mantock for Lydiard.
Goals from James Bayliss and Josh Hacker gave Stratton Youth a 2-0 win over Avonvale United, enabling Stratton to move off the bottom of the table in the process.
A hat-trick from Lawrie Miller and one from Liam O'Brien gave Fairford a 4-1 home win against Purton.
Under 11 West
A solitary goal from Ryan Selby gave third-placed Ferndale Rodbourne Tigers a 1-0 home win over Castle Combe.
Wootton Bassett Town completed their league fixtures with a 7-1 win over Ramsbury. Amongst the goals in this one were Dominic Gordon (2), Alex Daley, James Lowds and Oliver Stevens.
Under 11 Central
Croft Juniors maintained their nine-point lead at the top with a hard-fought 4-2 home win over Liden Community.
Joshua Skeates (2), Jack Savage and Henry Finnegan scored for Croft and Daniel Billing and Lawrence Smith for Liden.
Nearest rivals Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas in touch with a comprehensive 10-1 win over Swindon Badgers, James Evans leading the way with four goals, John Rees and Sam Jones netting two a piece and Liam Murray and Aaron Palmer one.
There was a nine-goal thriller between Greenmeadow and Old Town, Greenmeadow eventually edging it 5-4 thanks to goals from Ryan Jones (3), Ben Moore and Connor Moody. Steve Hill and Tyler Shepppard hit two apiece in reply for Old Town.
Under 10 West
A close game between Shaw and Wroughton was decided by substitute, Aaron Sanghera's first goal for Shaw following a goalmouth scramble. Despite a lot of late pressure from the leaders, Shaw held on for a notable win.
Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas closed the gap to one point with a 12-0 away win at Fairford B.
A Danny Hale hat-trick gave FC Abbey Meads a 3-2 home win over Malmesbury, while two goals from Jamie Pickford and one for Julian de Boer enabled Ramsbury to see off Minety 3-0.
Under 10 Central
Croft are almost there in the title race after their latest win, 4-0 over Ferndale Rodbourne Tigers. Their scorers were Phillip Jones (2), James Kearns and Alex Swatridge.
A solitary goal from Cameron Hayes was enough to give Penhill Allstars victory in their game with Cirencester Juniors Colts and lift them into fourth place in the table.
There were two goals for Sam Harris and one for Danny Knight in Penhill Knights 3-2 win over Greenmeadow.
Under 9 North
Cirencester Juniors remain unbeaten at the top. The latest victory was a narrow 2-1 win at Ashton Keynes. Nathan Littler scored both goals for Cirencester, Luke Allen scoring for Ashton Keynes.
Highworth Town West remain second after a 4-0 win over Highworth Juniors in the battle of the two clubs who play at the Rec.
Blunsdon Colts continued their good form with a 5-1 win over Stratton Youth, two goals coming from Oliver Hooton and one each from David Baird, Will Hooton and Miles Ruggerio.
Coleshill under nines won their first league point on the pitch following a 1-1 draw with Cricklade Cubs.
Coleshill took the lead mid-way through Johnathon Keany. Cricklade fought back and equalised with a good finish from a wide angle.
Two goals from Fraser New and one from Edward Hartshorne gave Fairford a 3-0 win at Shrivenham & Watchfield.
Uffington United's improved form continued with a 6-3 win at home against Lydiard Youth, Ben Richards with four, Sam Baring and Toby Baring getting the other two for Uffington. Josh Hillier (2) and Lewis Watts replied for Lydiard.
Under 9 West
Wootton Bassett Town continue to lead the way after an 8-0 win at Highworth Town South. Bassett's scorers were Harry Hazzard (2), Jack Brain, Nick Buckle, Neil Little (2), Ryan Amos and an own goal.
John McDonald (2) and Jack Peare were the Cricklade Colts scorers in their 3-0 win against Minety and Matthew Frusco hit both goals for Malmesbury in their 2-0 win over Purton.
Marlborough and Swindon Badgers shared the points in a 1-1 draw, Elliott Milne scoring for Marlborough and Adam Wooley for Badgers.
Westbrook A maintained their championship challenge with a 7-0 win at Shaw. Scorers for Westbrook were Callum Fitzgerald (2), Chis Middlecoate (2), Braedon Cleverly (2) and Jordan Lancaster.
Under 9 Central
Goals from Jack Allen, Liam Gallagher and an own goal were enough to give Ferndale Rodbourne an excellent 3-1 home win against Robins.
Two goals from Mason Korel and one a piece for Ryan Major and Salvotore Hrynkiewicz were enough to give Eastville Boys a welcome 4-3 win against Westbrook B. Luke Robathan (2) and Jake Roffey were the Westbrook scorers
