A THREE-day fundraising extravaganza at a Swindon pub has raised £900 for a local children's charity.
The Abbey Meads hosted a range of events in aid of the Children's Cancer and Leu-kaemia Movement (CALM), which looks after families with children suffering from cancer.
Among the madcap activities to take place at the end of last month were a 12-hour darts marathon and regulars having their chests and legs waxed.
Pub manager Sharon Thompson said: "CALM is close to all our hearts at the Abbey Meads. We are thrilled to be able to give this much money to such a worthwhile cause. Our thanks go to all those who took part and of course to all our staff."
