SANDWICH and salad bar Subway, which has 20,500 restaurants in 72 countries, officially opened a branch in Salisbury on Friday.
The new restaurant, which is next to The Royal Bank of Scotland in Minster Street, with another entrance off the Market Square, specialises in made-to-order six-inch and foot-long submarine sandwiches.
Manager Gill Butcher said she was excited to be able to bring Subway's fresh product to the people of Salisbury.
"My team and I are looking forward to meeting the residents and visitors to Salisbury and invite everyone to stop by and find out for themselves exactly what makes Subway the world's favourite sandwich."
