AMBITION 24 hours managing director Penny Streeter has won the CBI Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
The nursing services founder started up her business seven years ago and now boasts a turnover of £60 million, with no outside investors or borrowings.
Ambition 24hours provides private nursing care at home, day and night, and was in the top ten of fastest growing UK companies for a second successive year in 2003.
Ms Streeter (36) chose marketing consultants Rea-TMA, whose founding partner Stuart McArdell lives in Salisbury, for strategic planning and implementation.
Ms Streeter said: "Rea-TMA's systematic planning and implementation of our marketing programme and communications campaign has ensured exponential growth, with full control of expansion to maximise profitability.
"Its consistent communications and creative work has realised the vision of the business consistently, in alignment with our sales systems and deployment."
