SWINDON DRUGS HOTLINE: 1 Dealers selling drugs from cars.
Pushers will often set up deals on mobile phones and arrange to meet several buyers in a particular spot.
In one shot, officers captured 15 people waiting to buy heroin from a car.
Dealers will often favour a particular location for a few days, then change it.
Police need the make and registration number of suspicious vehicles and a description of the dealers.
2: Suspicious activity around phone boxes.
Because most deals are made by phone, another popular location to buy and sell drugs is around phone boxes. This shot shows addicts waiting by phone boxes in Cricklade Road. Police need to know if phone boxes in your community are being used to make deals.
3: Drugs being handed over
Dealers often store wraps of heroin in their mouths.
The deals are done in a split second the drugs handed over and the cash exchanged.
If you witness this, call the hotline and give a description of the suspects.
The hotline is based at Swindon Police Station.
All calls are treated in confidence.
Information can be left anonymously, but it is more helpful if callers can leave a name and contact number.
