Ref. 12449/02A RECORDING studio at the Shak youth development centre in Pewsey is available for use by anyone in the community.
The hi-tech studio has been fitted out with top equipment, thanks to generous grants from the Arts Council, the Doc Couch Trust, a Wiltshire based charity that assists projects for young people, and the Pewsey Area Community Trust.
Former Shak youth club member and studio manager Ian McGuffog, 18, said: "The studio has been primarily developed to encourage young bands although we have already undertaken a number of recordings for adult groups."
The studio has 24 track hard disk recording facilities and will soon be able to copy CDs. The sound system is available to young bands free of charge.
