Ref. 12439/1Children at Oaksey Primary School celebrated World Book Day by drawing their favourite characters from books.
All the children at the school, aged between four and eleven, entered a competition to draw on large A3 sheets of paper.
Headteacher Ursula Scott said children drew all sorts of characters from the Michael Morpurgo books to Winnie-the-Pooh to the Mr Men series.
It had been difficult to choose the winners.
Ms Scott said: "There was a very high standard and the children worked hard to make it a very successful week."
The winners' names are: Georgie Weatherley, Year 6; Douglas Faulkner, Year 5; Yukari Yamashita, Year 4; George Firth, Year 3; Sophia Adey, Year 2; Molly Williams, Year 1 and William Croft, Reception.
