BEMERTON will take a slight ad-vantage into the second leg of their Wessex League Cup Semi-final after a shock 2-1 first leg victory away at AFC Totton.
Western Way will host what promises to be a thrilling second leg on Tuesday, March 23 (7.45pm).
In last Tuesday's evenly fought encounter, neither side managed to break the deadlock in the first half.
It was end to end stuff, although clear scoring chances proved few and far between.
Mark Daubney should have put Heath in front early in the second half, but shot straight at the 'keeper. The miss looked to have proved costly when, just a minute later, the home side took the lead through a Clive Ventham goal.
On the hour mark the introduction of substitutes Ian Chalk and Stuart Findlay helped increase the tempo.
Findlay levelled on 74 minutes with a scorching left foot strike and then put Heath in front with an equally impressive right-footed effort.
Jason Ahmet was later denied only by the crossbar after a snap-shot which would have proved the icing on the cake.
