Ref. 12461/2St Bartholomew's Primary School children are getting ready to challenge the likes of Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorcese when they begin to make their own films.
The children are collecting Tesco tokens for a digital film maker that will allow them to shoot short films, and then edit them in the school's ICT suite.
They are appealing for Gazette readers to help them collect tokens, as they will need 3,430 to get the equipment.
ICT co-ordinator Chris Stokes said: "It is certainly a challenge to collect that number of tokens, as there are only 300 children in the school, but it is wonderful equipment if we could get it."
The Tesco vouchers are part of their Computers for Schools project, and awarded to shoppers whenever they spend £10 in the store.
Mrs Stokes said: "The problem with being quite a small school is that we will need 100 vouchers from each child, and that will mean their parents spending £1,000 in Tesco!
Vouchers can be sent to St Bartholomew's Primary School, The Rosary, Wootton Bassett, SN4 8AZ.
