THE third annual Coate Water Dragon Boat Race has been announced for Saturday, June 12.
The race, in boats based on traditional Chinese rowing vessels, is held in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
Teams of 11 people are invited to take part, and raise as much sponsorship as they can.
The foundation says the number of teams for this year's race is restricted to 21, so it recommends early registration, and the final deadline for registration is May 14.
Teams can be drawn from any organisation, and may be anything from a group of work colleagues to a squad of regulars from a pub.
