Ref. 29454-59EVENING Advertiser chief photographer Stuart Harrison was wandering, lonely as a cloud, the other day.
As he floated on high or rather, at a height of about 16 inches in his car past a verge near the Marriott Hotel in Marlborough Road, he all at once came upon this golden daffodil.
A picture paints a thousand words, and unlike Wordsworth, Stuart was armed with a Nikon D1 digital. The picture was taken with a 17-35mm wide angle lens stopped to F11, at an exposure of 1/2000sec and with the subject angled directly in front of the sun. Fill-in flash was used.
