A bid to chop down three yew trees at a Warminster vets has been rejected. Councillors on the Warminster planning and advisory committee objected to an application by the Garston Vet Group at Ulster Lodge on Monday.
Committee chairman Martin Baker said: "The application claims there are poisonous berries but these trees have been here longer than most of us and the plan is a bit pathetic."
