A YOUNG mum who sold drugs to schoolchildren from her Warminster home has been jailed for nine months.
Police launched Operation Checkmate to keep watch on The Ridgeway home of Tina Mead in February last year after concern about the number of young callers to the house.
Officers found scales, weights, a partially smoked cannabis joint, and about £62 after raiding the house on March 21.
Ramin Pakrooh, prosecuting, said Mead admitted in interview she had been dealing on a weekly basis but later retracted that.
At court Mead, 33, pleaded guilty to three counts of supplying cannabis.
Sarah Regan, defending, said her client, who was sentenced to community service for possessing cannabis with intent to supply in 2002, admitted supplying small quantities of drugs.
Judge John McNaught said: "You have responsibility for three children. What a bad example you are setting by your conduct."
