HISTORY will come to life at the Cotswold Water Park this weekend with a series of one-hour guided walks.
The Oxford Archaeology group will be leading five walks around the Cotswold community excavation site in the water park.
The community excavation has uncovered finds from the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman times through to medieval times.
Visits will be conducted every half hour from 10am until noon.
These walks will be led from the beach at the Keynes Country Park where a series of displays will also be available.
Refreshments can be bought after these visits in the Millennium Visitors Centre at Keynes Country Park or at the Gateway Visitors Centre on the Spine Road.
Keynes Country Park is in Spratsgate Lane, near Somerford Keynes, off the Spine Road.
