CHILDREN in Trowbridge have come up with names for the newest additions to Trowbridge Library a pair of goldfish.
Corral and Long Fin are the winning names in a competition launched by staff to christen the library's new mascots.
The competition winners are Owen Pugh, 10, and seven-year-old May Mouqu, both from Trow-bridge, who will be presented with their prizes at a ceremony at the library on Monday.
Owen, who chose Long Fin's name and May, who came up with Corral for the other fish, beat off 200 other entries in the competition.
Community librarian Christine Isaac said: "The two fish have already created huge interest among young children and we are delighted with the response we had to this competition.
"It was a very difficult task for staff to select the winning names as there was such a great response."
