YOUNG bookworms at a Trowbridge primary school wove their magic as they unveiled their Harry Potter archway.
Marking World Book Day, Newtown Primary School pupils opened the brightly- painted arch dressed as characters from their favourite books. Nicky Phillips, who runs Newtown's after-school club and is chairman of the governors, was behind the project.
She said: "The student council were asked for topics to brighten up the arch. After discussing the ideas we decided Harry Potter appealed to all ages."
A group of 10 pupils who attended the after-school club decorated the arch with characters from the popular book, including Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape, Rubeus Hagrid and Minerva McGongall.
Mrs Phillips said: "The children are so proud, they worked really hard."
