WILTSHIRE LEAGUE: Premier Division leaders AFC Stratton, whose unbeaten run ended at Bradford last week, will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they visit Malmesbury Vics Reserves, writes RAY BURROUGHS.

Stratton boss Stef Kuczynski will no doubt impress on his side not to dwell on last week's reverse but concentrate on starting another unbeaten run.

Bottom-but-one Malmesbury have improved of late and will be no pushover for the top side.

Rivals Trowbridge Town also dropped points last week at home to Westbury and they too will be looking to get their act together against Wroughton.

New Wroughton boss Mark Love had a taste of the hot seat for the first time last weekend and was immediately involved in the never ending saga of where his side would be playing. Fortunately Marlborough Town Reserves switched their home fixture enabling Wroughton to travel to Marlborough.

The same problem looks set to arise again this week with Trowbridge Town.

Aldbourne look to have a tough fixture on their hands at Biddestone, the home side have been in top form in recent weeks and reached the semi-finals of the Corsham Print Senior Cup with a victory over Devizes Town Reserves last week.

Chiseldon Castrol appear to have a good chance of picking up points against bottom club Pewsey Vale.

Purton visit Westbury United who are another side on a good run and manager Ian Restell will be well aware that his troops will need to be at their best.

Cricklade visit Warminster and could be hard pushed to come away with a result.

Trowbridge Town Reserves lead the way in Junior Division One by five points from nearest challengers Bromham with Sherston, Stratton Reserves and Wootton Bassett United hard on their heels.

Stratton Reserves entertain Bromham in what could be the match of the day in the section, closely followed by the Wootton Bassett United versus Sherston game.

Trowbridge would look to have an easier task against Down Ampney.

Just four points separate the top sides in Junior Division Two with leaders Trax ahead on goal difference from Swindon Asians.

Third-placed New College look to have a tricky fixture at Pinehurst Old Boys while Trax visit Lower Stratton. Swindon Asians visit QT Swindon.

In the quarter-finals of the Fountain Trophies Junior Cup Wanborough United play Wroughton Reserves and Westside take on Blunsdon United.
