STEVE WHITE has called for 1,000 Chippenham fans to descend on Hardenhuish Park for the visit of league leaders Crawley tomorrow.
The Premier Division top dogs are expected to bring as many as 500 supporters to Wiltshire on the back of the 4,500 crowd that saw them defeat title rivals Weymouth last week.
And White hopes double the number of Bluebird backers turn up to cheer his side towards a place in the new Conference Two.
The former Swindon Town striker said: "Crawley are top with eight or nine games to go so I'm expecting them to bring 400 or 500 fans down.
"It would be great if we could have twice as many Chippenham fans there.
"They are the top side on current form and we are nestled just behind them so in that respect it should be a great game.
"We have every respect for them but the way we are playing we fear nobody.
"If we can beat Crawley that will send a great message out to our supporters and the rest of the division."
Back-to-back victories over Hinckley and Grantham have lifted Chippenham out of the bottom four for the first time since October.
That would prove enough for a place in the Conference Two play-offs, but a top-13 place and automatic qualification is still very obtainable.
Weston-super-Mare currently occupy 13th with 40 points from 32 games. Chippenham have 37 from 33.
White could face a shortage of midfielders against the leaders, with Mark Badman struggling with a hamstring strain and Ian Herring battling a bout of tonsillitis.
Defender Colin Towler is also a doubt with a recurring back injury.
