TWINNERS in Wootton Bassett are looking for youngsters to help them establish more links with their French counterparts in Blain.
The twinning, which was launched officially in 2001, has already seen several exchange visits, but now organisers are keen to develop connections between schools and sports clubs.
Chairman Anne Pope said: "The French are interested in getting sports groups to do exchanges and we do have the possibility of one of the local primary schools having an exchange with a school over there."
Wootton Bassett Twinning Association, which is due to hold its annual meeting on March 26, is also hoping more clubs and societies in the town will come forward to take part.
Previous exchange trips have included a concert by the choral society in Blain and a visit by a group from Blain to take part in last year's carnival.
Anyone interested in forging links with the town, which is situated between Nantes and St Nazaire, can contact the association on 01793 850927 or 01793 854951.
