CIRENCESTER travel to Yate in the Dr Martens Western Division tonight with a distinct psychological edge.
The two sides have yet to meet in the league this season but the Centurions have dumped the Bristol outfit out of two cup competitions and bid to make it a hat-trick of successes this evening.
A 2-1 FA Cup qualifying round win at Lodge Road in September preceded a 2-0 home victory in the Gloucestershire Senior Cup last month.
A third victory would lift Ciren second, seven points behind leaders Redditch with two games in hand.
"The chance to move into second is a big incentive for us," said manager Brian Hughes.
"We've beaten them in the cups but that doesn't mean too much. I'm very respectful of Yate and the fact that they have beaten the likes of Gloucester and Bromsgrove recently."
Ciren travel at full strength but Hughes admits he may tinker with his starting line-up to 'freshen things up' after the below par goalless draw at Evesham on Saturday.
Highworth manager John Fisher will hope to stop the rot at home to Bicester in the Hellenic Premier Division.
The 2-0 loss at Slimbridge was the club's fifth defeat in six games and they are without a win in seven.
Lowly Bicester should present an ideal opportunity to arrest the slide and the return of striker Pete Macklin from suspension gives the hosts further cause for optimism.
Macklin comes in for Adam Giles who is unavailable while Mark Turner deputises for goalkeeper Elliot Jackson who is working.
Wootton Bassett have endured an even longer win drought, stretching back to November, but the visit of Shortwood represents a decent chance of bucking the trend.
Manager Pete Yeardley adds new signing Steve Dixey to the squad and is set to recall defender Mark Vaughan.
Andy Hallett is a major doubt with a knee injury that could keep him out for the remainder of the season but Matty Bennett returns after recovering from an ankle problem.
Corsham travel to Bristol Manor Farm in the Screwfix First Division.
Nobby Bush will give player-assistant John Woods a fitness test following a hamstring strain.
