GAZETTE & HERALD: Thieves took less than 15 minutes to steal £8,000 worth of golf clubs, designer gear and stereo equipment from cars parked at the Bowood golf club on Saturday.
Five vehicles at the Bowood Golf and Country Club in Derry Hill were targeted around 4.45pm.
Police believe a group of thieves were involved because of the swiftness of the operation.
"They were broken into in an approximate 12-minute period. We suspect it was one group of people, working together. We are seeking witnesses who should contact Calne police station," said Sergeant Nick Shorten.
Items stolen included Mayfly golf clubs, a blue Armani jacket, a £600 watch, CD players and more than £200.
The victims were on the golf course or in the clubhouse when the thieves struck.
They broke into the vehicles by smashing the windows, causing more than £600 damage in total.
The victim's cars included a Citroen AX, two Mitsubishis, an Audi A4, and a Volkswagen Golf.
A representative of the Bowood Estate was unavailable at the time of going to press.
