Ref. 12525/1GAZETTE & HERALD: Belly dancers wiggled their midriffs non-stop for two hours this week to raise money for a Chippenham boy with cerebral palsy.
Luther Frost-Barnes, aged ten, is undergoing pioneering treatment to help increase his mobility, which costs around £9,500 a year.
Luther lives in Cricketts Lane, Chippenham with his parents Lorraine and David who give him five hours of treatment, five days a week.
The family have to fly to Belgium several times a year to visit a Russian doctor who teaches them each stage of the treatment. They fly out again on Friday.
The Egyptian Belly Dance class in Calne offered to help Luther by holding the sponsored event in St Dunstan School on Tuesday evening.
Belly dance teacher Heather Brothers decided to run the event because her daughter Bridget is a friend of Luther's.
