TV presenter Tim Lovejoy is promising a tough game for the Gazette and Kandu Arts team when he brings his Soccer AM Badgers to Chippenham Town on March 28.
The game is being organised to raise money for a Kandu trip to New Zealand in October for children in care.
The Badgers are likely to feature Lovejoy himself, as well as former Newcastle defender John Beresford, former Norwich midfielder Keith O'Neill and Paul Dalglish, son of Scotland legend Kenny.
The match will be filmed for Sky Sports and shown on the following week's Soccer AM.
"We are coming here to win,'' said Lovejoy, 37. "I want to leave Chippenham a winner.''
March 28 is his birthday and he will be aiming to celebrate it with a good performance, and a few drinks at The Five Alls pub afterwards.
Facing him will be a Kandu/Gazette XI that is set to include former Chippenham Town favourite Adie Mings.
Chippenham boss Steve White hopes to play as well and manger Ed Deedigan is still hoping to attract some other big names.
Ipswich midfielder Chris-Bart Williams is one name being mentioned.
"We want to put on a great game for the people who come along, and we really want to beat The Badgers,'' said Deedigan. "It will be a proper grudge match.''
There will be face-painters and family entertainment before the game and a half-time penalty competition for youngsters.
The gates open at 12.30pm and kick-off is at 1.30pm so spectators can get away for the Arsenal v Man United game at 4pm. Admission is £3 for adults and £1 for children.
More details on the teams next week.
