Action from the Devizes game. DA5107P1SALISBURY Hockey Club's men's first team booked their place in the final of the Wiltshire Cup thanks to a spirited performance against a strong Devizes side.

Their 3-2 victory earned them a final clash with Marlborough next month at a venue still to be decided.

After a goalless first half at their Skew Bridge home, Salisbury went behind against the run of play early in the second half.

Ben Croxall saved a short corner shot on the line, but was robbed as he attempted to clear.

However, Dickie Head grabbed a deserved equaliser and fine work by Dan Dines let in Andy Grandfield to put the hosts ahead.

Devizes levelled but Salisbury were in no mood to capitulate.

Croxall made amends for his slip that led to Devizes' first, when he scored what proved the winner by running half the length of the pitch before nutmegging the visiting 'keeper.
