ROWDE Primary School's chairman of governors Mandy Housby has made a complaint against the conduct of parish councillor Ann Stradling.
The complaint has been sent to the Standards Board of England and relates to a special meeting of Rowde Parish Council last Thursday at which three planning applications relating to Rowde Primary School were discussed.
Mrs Stradling spoke of her opposition to the applications to build a new school and for housing to be built.
Mrs Housby said: "Mrs Stradling lives opposite the school and she said at the meeting she didn't own the house she lived in, she rented it, and said she would vote on the planning applications. Another parish councillor, Graham Stevens, who is in favour of the new primary school, did not attend the meeting because he felt he had a conflict of interests as he lives in nearby Springfield Road.
"Mrs Stradling should have declared an interest and should not have voted in my opinion."
Mrs Housby, who lives in Poulshot, was not at the meeting but David Ball, the school's headteacher was, along with 60 members of the public.
The Gazette was unable to contact Mrs Stradling before going to press.
