A NEW consultancy has launched aimed at taking the stress out of organising events, marketing and media relations for companies in west Wiltshire.
Helen Plummer, 28, former events and corporate officer for the Royal United Hospital's Forever Friends Appeal in Bath is setting up on her own and is hoping her tailor-made service will hit the right note with local businesses.
With the launch of her new company, Eventy, she will be drawing on her experience raising thousands for Forever Friends and organising events all over the south west.
She said: "I have really enjoyed my time working for the appeal but this is a really exciting time for me and Eventy is something I have wanted to do for some time now.
"Having worked in marketing, event organisation, PR and with the media for companies organisations and charities both locally and nationally for the last 10 years, I'm hoping to work with a range of clients throughout the region.
"Just in setting up Eventy I have received a great deal of support from people and businesses locally everyone has been really positive and I hope that Eventy's services will bring a lot in return to the region."
The company will specialise in events, PR, and marketing and she believes this will appeal to smaller businesses without huge budgets to pay for the support of a specialist department in these areas.
She said: "It will be a service that is tailored to each client, for example, some corporate clients may need to outsource their press releases or a marketing initiative while others might need to outsource the organisation of an event for client hospitality or team-building activities."
