A COMPETITION to create a new slogan for a local radio station could win one lucky listener a free holiday to Greece.
Broadcasters at Moonraker 106.8FM are running a month's trial of the station and want a catchy new slogan ahead of an application for a full time licence for north and west Wiltshire.
The winner of the competition to come up with a replacement for the current slogan 'your music, your station', will win a holiday for two to Greece in June, donated by Howard Travel, Trowbridge.
The Moonraker team has a temporary licence from the Radio Authority to run until April 2.
Comments, letters and calls received by the station will form part of a formal application to Ofcom for the full-time station.
Drive Time presenter Alan Dee, originally from North Bradley, said he was enjoying the month's trial back in his home county.
He said: "My radio experience to date has always been in stations away from west Wiltshire, so it's a great pleasure to be back with Moonraker FM and broadcast to my local area.
"We are very grateful for the tremendous support Howard Travel has given us and look forward to presenting this holiday prize to two of our listeners."
