A TEENAGER from Bradford on Avon had his car impounded for the second time in less than a fortnight after he was reported to have been involved in a hit-and-run with another car in the town centre.
Mark Harding-Wyatt's red Peugeot 306 saloon was impounded on March 4 after complaints about his 'aggressive driving' around the town.
The 18-year-old was charged more than £100 to get it back and must now pay up again if he wants to get back on the road after it was seized by police for a second time on Sunday.
He was reported to police after a hit-and-run in Wine Street and a number of witnesses said he had been seen around the town driving at speeds of more than 50mph.
Sgt Mark Rees, of Bradford police, said: "Mark is not the only one who we are targeting with this campaign on anti-social driving around the town.
"In this latest incident potentially there could have been a serious accident so we had to act.
"He has got to learn his lesson and I hope other parents in the town look at his example and maybe pass on the message to their children that it could be them next time."
